Tecnon at IAS 2018 Rosario

Tecnon completed its participation in the EXPO IAS 2018, which the Argentine Iron and Steel Institute has organized from October 22 to 25.

The meeting was held for the ninth year in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina. The event counted with a total of 795 attendees from Argentina, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, South Korea, Slovenia, Spain, United States, France, Great Britain, Holland, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico , Peru, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, Uruguay and Venezuela. In total, more than 160 technical works were presented in 6 simultaneous rooms, in addition to the traditional technical sessions of Reduction, Steelworks, Maintenance, Lamination and Product Development, Safety and Environment, Presentations on Industry 4.0 were included given the transcendent importance of this subject today in the field of industry in general and steel in particularse. Three pre-conference courses were held with world-class instructors and a total of 6 plenary sessions were presented. It was supported by 9 institutions, 10 sponsors and 40 companies that participated in the EXPO IAS 2018.
