At Tecnon we stand out for offering innovative solutions that answer to the specific needs of our clients. Here we show you some of the products we have been working on over the last month, which were designed to improve the processes of the automotive, steel and paper industries.

1. Pulleys for the steel industry

The most important tube factory in the country commissioned us to make four grooved pulleys that will go into its lifting sector to be used in the crane blocks and also in the overhead cranes.

2. A speed reducer for the most important steel mill in the country

We repaired a speed reducer in a coke oven in Argentina, belonging to the leading steel manufacturing company. In this case, the reducer is used in the door openers of the coke oven battery 2, which will later be used for casting to obtain the raw material, which is steel.

3. Two special couplings for the paper industry

We manufactured two gear couplings for one of the main paper companies in Argentina. They are two identical couplings, characterized by their labyrinthine and spacer closure, which will be used in the rollers of the tables that form the paper. This process includes pressing the wet paper and drying it using heated rollers, thus optimizing the production and quality of the paper.

4. Pneumatic brakes, with reverse engineering, for the automotive industry

At the request of a client in the automotive industry, our engineering team had to replicate and redesign pneumatic brakes that had stopped being sold years ago and that the client needed to have in its production line. Here it is one of the 12 TANDL-120NC brake manufactured after hard work by our engineering team and thanks to reverse engineering. It is a type of brake that works in a normally closed manner and is commonly used as a safety system, since when the air supply is cut off it returns to its natural position, braking the machine where it operates.
